IP Monetization

“Patent Monetization” occurs when a patentee obtains value for patent rights by selling or licensing one or more patents.  Although historically patent rights have been bought and sold, patent monetization as a widely recognized business model has emerged only in recent years.  A patent can be sold outright, licensed or traded like most other forms of property.

The hardest part in creating revenue from patent rights is finding the right organization or individual to pay an appropriate price for the patent rights. We have represented buyers, patentees and brokers in evaluating patent portfolios and assisting in monetizing their patent assets.
