Patent Strategy

We assist in developing effective invention disclosure programs, which can help clients recognize patentable inventions. We also provide hands-on in-house patent training for technical and non-technical personnel so that clients can recognize patentable inventions and take adequate measures to promptly protect their intellectual property.

Patent Procurement

We conduct patent searches (including through third party search firms) and evaluate existing art as it relates to our clients’ technology and inventions. We counsel clients on the type of US and foreign patent protection that will be most suitable to their business objectives.

After evaluating a client's technology, we draft and prosecute domestic and international patent applications.  We communicate/negotiate with the US Patent and Trademark Office, as well as with foreign patent and trademark offices through our foreign associates.  We keep the client involved and informed while the patent application is pending and is being negotiated with the patent offices.
