Our team of attorneys led by Tom Dao pursued Ex Parte Reexamination in 2020 against Pat. No. 6,578,819 (the ‘819 patent) after it was asserted against one of our clients. A few months later, we pursued another Ex Parte Reexamination against Pat. No. 8,376,133 (the ‘133 patent) after it was asserted against another Firm client. In June 2021, we received notice from the USPTO that all claims of the ‘819 patent have been cancelled. In April 2022, the USPTO issued its decision cancelling all claims of the ‘133 patent. The two court cases were subsequently dismissed and we are proud to have saved our clients hundreds of thousands in litigation fees.
